Keith is an experienced cable dolly rigger and operator. He has rigged in rain forests, caves, cliffs and in shafts in Vietnam, Gabon, Mongolia and the UK. Cable dolly photography has been used on the BBC's Human Planet series, Plants (still in production), Living with Monkeys and Scottish Landscapes. His mountaineering and rope access experience allows him to develop anchor systems in difficult environments.
His own fully radio controlled system is fast and easy to rig for both horizontal AND vertical travel. It has a full pan and tilt head coupled to bi-directional fully proportional microprocessor controlled drive system. It also offers a powerful video send for live view of pictures. Runs of 100m are possible.
If you want to fly a camera through forests, follow kayaks down rivers, track mountain bikers, walkers, horseriders or get a different perspective a cable dolly is a very powerful imaging tool especially if you have a diabolical surface. This system is of course not in touch with ground. Check out the link below.
